Last Magic Mates #ZNR draft of the season, so I drafted a deck with 29 spells and 11 basics... For science!

🏆7-0 with this awesome RW warriors #ZNR draft deck. P1P1 was close, I took Roil Eruption over Kargan Intimidator but curious to know what other people think of that.

The 1 mana warriors followed up with a Relic Axe felt gross.

After a long losing streak I finally posted back to back 7 wins in #ZNR Bo1 draft. The key seems to be to value synergy cards over MDFCs - I was previously picking the splands way too high.

Just got slaughtered by this insane #ZNR landfall deck. Not sure if they got very lucky or that's just the kind of curves RG landfall is meant to do.

T1 Hellhound, T2 Brushfire (attack for 3), T3 I vanquish the Brushfire with land on the stack, Roiling Regrowth in response.

That strange spot in #ZNR draft where both players need to topdeck a land to win...

(I needed one the turn before to give the Fledgling flying, they needed one that turn to mill me out and instead drew crab #3! Live by the crab, die by the crab.)

First night of the Magic Mates #ZNR season tonight. Thanks to our privileged position here in Australia, we will be drafting in PAPER and I'm excited to see how the MDFCs in each pack affect the draft experience!

5-3 with this sweet #ZNR MDFC deck. Nissa's Zendikon was actually great - I started out with 0 in the main and ended with 2. Think it is actively good if you have a few MDFCs to put it on. Plus it has reach, which will net you a few free wins!

Battled my way back from a 2-3 start to claim my first #ZNR 🏆 with BG counters.

Hagra Constrictor feels like a top common for the deck. Subtle Strike very good against rogues. The 2 red MDFCs actually won me a few games.
