Every Zotero-to-Obsidian plugin I tried needed BetterBibTeX, a running Zotero app, and template configurations. And many were abandoned or lacked needed updates.
So I built one that works with a few clicks.

Have you looked at Tropy? It's from the same folks who developed #Zotero. #Tropy is free, open-source desktop software that allows you to organize and describe photographs of research material. tropy.org
I wish there was a way for #Zotero to provide automatic "related" links to articles that reference each other within your Zotero database. Like a Web of Science "Cited Reference Search" functions.

Is there a good #zotero alternative? seems like some major regressions in the last few versions.
I want to keep all my papers in one folder with sensible names (not wherever/<random garbarge>/paper.pdf).
The BetterBibTex export seems wonky too.

Does anyone else have the problem with the #Zotero / Word integration that in-text citations suddenly always appear in a different font from the rest of the document? If so, any ideas on how to fix this? Would be grateful for any hints 🙏

Y'a un problème en ce moment sur #Wikipedia avec #OpenEdition et #Zotero : l'outil qui génère les références biblio fait n'importe quoi. Déjà 28 mentions d'un article qui s'appelerait "Vérification que vous n'êtes pas un robot !".

In fine l'appli de #Framasoft marche super bien pour dicter mes analyses linéaires et les convertir en texte.

OMG! La mise à jour de #Zotero 7.0 est un PUR BONHEUR!
Des fonctions ont été ajoutées pour faciliter le classement des données et surtout les retrouver rapidement, l'interface est beaucoup plus agréable, avec plusieurs modes d’affichages et de tailles de polices. 💖

@rohitfarmer still on Obsidian, even if not open source : as far as I know, Joplin (like Zettlr) can import references from Zotero, but there is no way (no plugin) to import annotation, comments, notes made in Zotero. It’s possible with Obsidian (plugin + note template).
