I finally sat down and was like "OK, time to recommit to my Zettelkasten practice," and then I realized Zotero's update made it so that none of my citation keys work.

Anyone else in pain over this update?

Here's what neurodiversity does: Instead of finally firing up Word, loading this publishers' template and starting writing this article I agreed upon months ago (due Dec. 10th), I start experimenting with #zettlr #zotero, #betterbibtex and #pandoc to create an awesome writing experience.

Who in their right mind uses special charactes like < or > in DOIs? 😩 #Zotero's #BetterBibTex plugin doesn't escape it to \textless{} or \textgreater{} and so you get something weirdly rendered doi:10.1175/1520-0450(1977)016¡0311:TRDO¿2.0.CO;2 in your bibliography 😑

Does anyone have strong feelings about citation key formatting?

Any reason not to just use the default of `auth.lower + shorttitle(3,3) + year`?
