Ink drawing of 2 spaceships. Beeper Vlassic and Powr Pod M32. Some barrels floating in space as well.
The playtest of #ZSF #TTRPG was super fun. Didn't spend much time on the space highways, though.

I've ran my space fantasy game #ZSF for about 12 sessions. I feel like the system is good. The setting is just whatever weirdness I want it to be, but it has a backbone. I don't feel like I'm a great GM right now, though. I can't put my finger on it. But I'm trying to let it be a hoot, at least.
Pic of a small kraft paper sketchbook back. Drawing of a space scene with various nebulae and planets and stuff. A white ship with red windows flies through, small.
Back of the current mini sketchbook. The SS Winter Widow zips through space on its eternal search for Captain Starling's lost heart.

Pic of an open sketchbook with some markers next to it. Drawing of funky space with various space ships floating around near a red sun.
The orbital zone was getting crowded and some began to wonder if 70 even had a license to fly. Radio calls went un-answered. It was time to get a crew together, board the ship, and see what the problem was. #ZSF
Color drawing of a space driver driving a space car with a 1 on their helmet. A chill green alien in back seat with a sucker and seat belt. Lots of gadgets and doodads.
#ZSF playtest continues. So far we got lots of robots, space ichors, sink serpent, asteroid brain belt, hyper cocaine, and a sleek space yacht with smooth jazz.
Pic of me hand holding a little sketchbook open to a double page. Left side is a gray toned drawing of a space character on a planet with a tentacle nearby. Rocket appears damaged. Gun at hand. She looks determined. Right hand is a character sheet for ZSF. Name Form Background Traits Gear Explore Drive Fight Operate Shoot Talk DEF (defense) $ SP (space points) LP (life points) Aces
I've been playtesting a sci-fantasy #TTRPG called #ZSF. It's space fun. So far, it's going well. The group has helped me identify a few hiccups and weaknesses in the rules, which is exactly the kind of thing you want from a playtest. We're only about 3 sessions in, so I can't say too much yet.
Ink drawing of weird spaceship or tower
Been running #ZSF weekly and so far so good. Fun time. Learning what needs tweaked. Had a self destruct situation in last night's game that was narrowly avoided.
Crude line art of a little big feet wormy lizard things on a crater filled surface. Some running awkwardly.
#ZSF playtesting tonight. I needed a visual for some space critters. Here's what it looks like when I spend 10 minutes prepping for something.
Bw drawing of robot in rain pointing to its own ID . Digital white ink on black

#ZSF session 2 tonight! Play reports coming.
On board the SS Stymie for a covert mission into danger...
This video is no shit about 98% exactly what the fuck #ZSF is all about! Space truckers, weirdos, and cartoon violence.
Color drawing, space scene. A black woman with guns stands next to an orange ship while a hairy weirdo welds the wing. Two red monkey things are sneaking up on them.
"Hold long on the repair? This moon gives me the creeps."
"Relax, Cap. Ain't a damn thing livin' on this hunk of green cheese."
"Uh, guys, I'm gettin' a strange reading on the bio scanner..."

Pic of little space-themed dice bag and dice lying next to it. A set of fire-orange polyhedrals. Six black six-sided dice with white pips. A white d6 with black pips. And a white d6 labeled "60", "40", etc.
Dice kit ready for Monday night when we start playing #ZSF, my space fantasy game. A nice clean load out. I got that white d6 labeled "60" today and noticed a funny thing... the opposite sides DO NOT add up to 7. What the hell? Is this a cursed bad luck die?? lol
Opposite sides of d6 should = 7. 1/2
Gray ink wash drawing of a person in space with sunglasses and a zip up jacket with RIG label.
Sure, you can buy that GHL flashlight or that Dapper Corp hypercord. But when you want to be confident that your gear has got your back, you need to get a RIG. Jumpsuits, batteries, flack jackets, sunglasses, and yes... laser guns. RIG delivers.

Come and get me, coppers!

Color sketch of an alien landscape with a buglike creature with a spear. A rocket ship sits in the background.
The expedition to Urvanus 12 was not without peril to the crew of scientists. While 8 set down, only 3 would ever leave that hostile world.

More doodles for Zoa Space Fantasy RPG.
Pic of an open sketchbook. Left side is a color drawing of a spacer with a biker jacket and gun, his ass crack showing a bit. He's walking up a stairway to a weird ship or temple. Right side is ZSF character sheet that kind of looks like a space ship.

The SS Booger sat down on the unnamed moon because it picked up a significant rare minerals reading. Commander Nitro was busy examining the enviroscanner's readings when First Mate McDoo gasped...
A little spot art for the #TTRPG I'm working on.
Six sided die with big numbers
In #TTRPG news, unless I change my mind AGAIN, I'm going with a very simple 2d6 vs. target for the dice rolls in my sci-fantasy game #ZSF. Honestly, the dice roll mechanic just needs to serve the function I want, which 2d6 does. There's a reason this is such a widely-used dice roll method.
Ink and gray tone drawing of a robot or someone in power armor in the darkness under a starry sky

Last of the XV-99 drop team still intact, XV-99D roams the surface of tiny moon Nebula 14-A patiently waiting for further orders from RIO, the robot high command. Luckily its atomic batteries were undamaged in the crash... it has plenty of time.
