Le GNU a fait appel à des groupes armés de #Zintan, et surtout aux Brigades de #Misrata, particulièrement puissantes. De son côté, la RADA a pu mobiliser plusieurs de ses alliés, ainsi que parmi les forces en présence à Tripoli qui n'ont pas apprécié l'assaut de la veille contre la SSA.
