Tribute piece to an old original Nintendo game Abadox, released 1989. Golden armor space guy floating against a starscape. He has a plasma rifle in both hands and is surrounded by four golden orb devices keeping him safe. Lettering at the bottom spells out the game name Abadox, replicating the style of the title. As with the original version, half of the lettering is covered in bloody gore.

Alright! Finished a tribute to an old childhood (early 90's) NES game: #Abadox! Lots of memories with this one-and they were all brutal!

NES games did not forgive your mistakes. 1 hit, you die. The struggle made the victories all the sweeter, though ;)

Old NES tribute to #Abadox!! Loved this game in the 90's, and it stuck with me as one of the more brutal games I had. That game era would slap you around and laugh while you failed, over and over, but it'd feel so good to win!

Base colors done. Shouldn't be too long for this one.

Abadox, a gruesome body horror shooter with Nintendos seal of approval! The end involves you escaping through a gigantic rectum. I love the atmosphere of the game and enjoy giving a new coat of pixels to old titles. Above is the original with mine below feat: the dogboss. #pixels #abadox #aseprite
