I gave HamishMacDonald benefit of the doubt on #ABCSydney Mornings but I’m out. SarahMacDonald was always such fun. I felt great listening to her. Hamish has turned it into the Sydney misery morning. It’s awful. Every day he invites angry people to call and lets them rant. Might as well go to 2GB 😡

Simon Marnie's departure from 702 is a huge loss for listeners. His deep knowledge of food, travel, and music has made 702 a unique and valuable station. As a long-time #ABCSydney listener, I'm dismayed by this decision.

I find one of the most appalling aspects of the dumping of #sarahmacdonald and #simonmarnie from #abcsydney is the plotting that must have been going on behind their backs. Plans being drawn up, jobs being advertised, people being interviewed - all hidden from them.

I can be cynical and guess #ABCAustralia management thought something along the lines of - we’ll have a female broadcaster for drive (Chris Bath) so we can’t possibly have a woman on for mornings as well.
