Finally watched Evan Marlowe’s 2023 puppet led psychological horror Abruptio, and while I can’t say it was a complete success, it was a bold attempt to dramatise a psychotic break, I loved what it was going for, & enjoyed its bolder swings in particular.

The ads on this one have been brutal. Every 5 minutes or so an ad break. Tubi is brutalizing me.

Also, the three seconds of CG in this film showed more ambition than 90% of modern Hollywood productions.
