Very excited about #Cryptochetidae @NHM_Bees new #acalypterate fly family for Britain. Amazing little parasitic fly with no arista at all.

When was the last new fly family for the UK? Was it Cnemospathidae in 1991/1994 (though treated as part of Heleomyzidae then)?
