Would it be possible to roll out a change so that requiring alt text on images is enabled by default and retroactive? Let unauthenticated people be able to disable it, but if someone has a blue check, it should be mandatory. If they bitch, tell them #AccessibiltyMatters.
It isn’t limited to ramps or parking spots. True inclusion means creating spaces where everyone belongs. Removing barriers everywhere, not just in the places that are convenient or obvious.

In the past, I've found that the alt text I was writing was longer than the social media platform I was using allowed on a single image.
