Acchi gives out an ominous smile as it approaches Tiff when suddenly, a hammer smacks him away. Tiff and the Cappy baby look in awe at the sight of their rescuer: the self-proclaimed king of Dream Land himself, King Dedede. Bandana Waddle Dee accompanies Dedede and informs him about Kirby's condition, shocking the great king. Dedede hears a loud roar coming from the distance. Acchi isn't done. He engulfs himself in a large pillar of flame and charges up a powered up fire breath.

Bandana Waddle Dee and Tiff look hopelessly at the angry Acchi. King Dedede looks back and pulls out a snow cone resembling Chilly, with an idea of having Kirby obtain the Ice Copy Ability to defeat Acchi. Dedede throws the snow cone at Bandana Dee, who lets Kirby eat the snow cone, causing him to recover from his burns and transform into Ice Kirby. Kirby and Acchi fire their respective breathes at each other.

Ice Kirby's Ice Breath and Acchi's powered up fire breath clash in a beam struggle. Acchi gives it everything he's got in this attack. With the cheers of friends motivating him, Kirby unleashes his full power and overpowers Acchi's fire breath, freezing him. Kirby skates at Acchi and kicks him away.

Tiff, Tuff, King Dedede, and Bandana Waddle Dee look in joy at seeing Kirby defeat Acchi. Kirby gracefully lands on the ground, discarding the Ice Copy Ability, before doing a spin and striking a victory pose. Tiff runs to Kirby to hug, happy to see that he's safe. Kirby smiles back.

That last attack managed to damage Acchi enough to give him a scar on his left eye. Angered, Acchi roars and engulfs himself in flames, dashing into Kirby, knocking him out instantly, much to Tiff's dismay. She notices a Cappy baby tripping on the ground, which caught Acchi's attention. For no reason, Acchi charges at the baby with flames. The baby looks in terror when moves in front of her. Tiff looks back at the baby as if to tell her that everything will be okay before focusing on Acchi, holding a spear and a wooden shield for defense.

Sword Kirby charges at Acchi, jumping over his fiery breath to hit him with a back slash. Kirby then hits Acchi with a Drill Stab, an Upward Slash, and a Twister Slash. After Acchi is pushed back, Kirby lifts his sword upward and charges up energy into it, unleashing a Sky Energy Sword Beam at Acchi, causing a large explosion.

Kirby, Tiff, and Tuff look in horror as Acchi attacks the Cappies, scorching the forest. A defeated Mayor tells the siblings to run but Tuff lets out an angry battle cry and attacks Acchi. The salamander kicks Tuff away, making him drop his sword. Kirby inhales Tuff's sword to transform into Sword Kirby.

Grizzo runs away with the spear still on its back as Kirby turns away with sass. Tiff is surprised that Kirby saved her life considering everything she learned about him from the other Cappies. Kirby checks on Tiff to see if she's okay only to discover her injured arm. Kirby brainstorms some ideas on how to help the Cappy when he figured something out. He temporarily leaves Tiff to come back with a Maxim Tomato. Tiff is hesitant to eat the tomato at first, but Kirby, with a trusting smile, insists that she'll feel better after eating it. After some thinking, Tiff finally eats the tomato and flexes after recovering her health. Kirby is happy to see the result.

Elsewhere, the Mayor and the Cappies search the woods for Kirby. One Cappy notices a spherical entity sleeping in the bushes. The Cappies throw their spears at "Kirby", as he begins to wake up. The Mayor is satisfied before looking shocked. Turns out, "Kirby" was actually an Acchi, who is upset at the Cappies for ruining his rest. The Cappies are scared.

Kirby and Tiff go fishing; the latter impressed by the former's fishing skills as he fishes out a Blipper. Tiff begins to think Kirby isn't as evil as the other Cappies believe and that his injustices were accidental. Suddenly, someone steps on a branch, alerting both Tiff and Kirby, the latter mid-eating his Blipper. Tiff's young brother, Tuff appears, sword in hand. He jumps at Kirby with no warning.

Kirby catches Tuff's sword with his fishing rod, swallowing the Blipper he was eating. Tiff is shocked as she doesn't want the two to fight. Kirby and Tuff go at it as the latter pulls off a flashy samurai-esque attack, which hilariously doesn't scratch Kirby. The two charge at each other, only to be intervened by Tiff, who's had enough and calls off the fight.
