Receiving referee reports is emotionally complicated, even when the recommendation is to accept subject to revisions. Today’s (a week before Christmas) arrived with the request that I complete the regions and upload the new version in two weeks, adding outrage to everything else I’m feeling. #aclife

Currently doing a Key Travel search for trans-Atlantic flights, and the cheapest option available requires a 24-hour plus layover in Copenhagen, where any savings made on the flight will be eaten up by accommodation costs (not to mention the unbelievable waste of time). #aclife
