At #AERA2025, CTS’ Joseph Bishop, Michael Corral, and Angela James joined scholars from the UK’s Excluded Lives Project to present a powerful session on exclusionary school discipline across the US and UK. They called for better data, cross-sector policy, and humane discipline practices.

I had a fantastic time presenting from my chapter in "Building Civic Futures" vol. 1 at #AERA2025. Unfortunately, 2 intl grad students who should have been there were not for their safety. It is bittersweet to love what was shared, but know what was missed - and what will be missed in the future.

Interesting. #AERA2025 asked people not to share pictures to protect researchers and #SRCD2025 says they will do it without consent.
