My current best understanding of today's NVDIA stock situation is: a Chinese IT firm called DeepSeek (subsidiary of the hedge fund High-Flyer) released a language model (R1) that anyone can download for free, about a week ago.

My husband sent me this video so now I laugh when I see AI boosterism instead of screaming.
