This time saw the #ajitama get made. It's actually pretty simple. 50/50 mix of soy sauce and aji-mirin, pop in shelled soft-boiled eggs for >24 hours. Also included: #narutomaki, #daikon, #cabbage, #carrot, #chives, and #furikake.

It is such a great versatile addition, when you get the just right jammy center with the richly flavored whites. I can eat then alone with hot rice all day long. 🥚🍚
