Albi's handwriting is a little strange just because the alphabet she grew up writing is an offshoot variant of Eorzean, so it's a bit of an amalgamation of a few typefaces. It's still legible to most. I like to think that Thancred's writing is so uniform that you can tell he studied his letters a lot, but in a way that makes it feel a little overly practiced and almost artificial. The specific loops you practice in those "learning to write" books. Gaius writes in cursive. He doesn't tend to sign his name in correspondence (in current day), for not wanting to draw attention. But it's the sort of thing where you'll recognise his handwriting on a letter before you even open it, so he doesn't need to, anyway.

Albi is generally very conscious of her posture, words, and how she is perceived. She's good at being a people pleaser and working around others, almost to a manipulative level, but she comes across as natural and pleasant. It does make her seem a little stiff in certain situations, though #albilore

Fun question to think about… I like to think that Albi comes across as fairly bland and unremarkable at first glance (saying this with nothing but love in my heart). She likes to be unassuming, so it’s a perk. Her physical charm points take time to become apparent #albilore

Albi was always a meek and passive person, until Stormblood stoked the first kindling of spite in her. That spite is wild and unchecked for a while, but by the time we hit Endwalker, she is almost serene in her readiness to put him down. She was half-dead and ready to go down with the ship #albilore
Albi's dream pre-Calamity was to study in Sharlayan. That became unfeasible, and later unappealing, even after moving there
But with her interest in Fifth Astral Era history, on Occult Crescent, she can't help thinking "this could get me my Archon marks" before shaking herself out of it 🧍 #albilore

Cid ✌️ They are close in the way where you love your family (Scions, Ironworks) but just need to drink & gossip with your bestie sometimes. They share a lot of similarities in terms of demeanour/life experiences/fitting into Eorzea as immigrants/etc. and their foundation is built on that #albilore

She knows nothing of her paternal heritage, which makes her a quarter Garlean by blood. Albi's grandfather was the original viceroy of Werlyt, who was killed in it's first uprising. Her half-Garlean father was a Frumentarium officer, and died at Silvertear #albilore
Star-coded, that's her whole main motif... but I like moon imagery :) Her star-coloured eyes turning white in ShB, the moon & the tide, cool and distant yet beloved. The Endwalker imagery got to me
