Directive on Standing Orders for Military Defense (in case of attack on the country and during war) The Standing Order We, Frederick the Ninth, by the Grace of God King of Denmark, of the Wends and Goths, Duke of Schleswig, Holstein, Stormarn, Dithmarschen, Lauenburg and Oldenburg, make known: In the event of an attack on Danish territory or on a Danish military unit outside of Danish territory, the attacked forces shall immediately engage in combat without awaiting or seeking orders — even if a declaration of war or state of war is not known to the relevant commanders.
If the defense forces have not been brought up to full wartime strength before the attack, any attack on Denmark from outside, or on its constitutional authorities, is to be regarded as an order to mobilize. The Home Guard shall report immediately as determined by "Home Guard in place." At the outbreak of war and during wartime, false orders and messages to the population and to mobilizing or fighting forces must be expected.
Orders not to mobilize, not to resist, or to interrupt mobilization or combat must not be obeyed unless there is certainty that the order came from a competent authority. Orders from captured or incapacitated constitutional authorities shall not be obeyed. Attacked units — and units near them — must immediately use all available means in the fight without awaiting orders.
Isolated forces shall do their utmost to delay the enemy’s advance and inflict the greatest possible losses, while seeking contact with other fighting Danish or allied units. The fight must be carried out with the greatest energy, even in isolation, to gain time to organize further resistance inside or outside the area.

Flags at half mast today to mark Hitler's invasion of Denmark on 9 April 1940. Freedom and democracy should not be taken for granted. #neverforget #9april #aldrigmere9april
Friskt nok lige at kombinere det med Rambo #aldrigmere9april
