I can see why it wasn't produced, but "if only". I didn't like what they did instead, but really liked what they did here.

I liked the novel better than the movie, but not by much.

I just hate the idea of what they did to #Hicks, #Bishop and #Newt as starters. It had lots of potential, but lost its focus IMO.

I say without reservation that #Alien³ - The Legacy Cut finally elevates this grossly under-appreciated film to as close to David Fincher’s original vision as can reasonably be expected. My heartfelt thanks to the team at @a34k.bsky.social!
