hell yea i do!! i acknowledge the general passage of irl time as-is, i.e. if it's 2 years between the start of heavensward and the start of stormblood, then that's +2 years to the counter. the actual events of the xpacs might only last weeks or months. as far as rp scenes go, ->

given the localized nature of public RP on xiv, i always prefer OOC approaches myself, but will roll with most IC approaches when they do happen - even when i'm RP-tagged, i'd still much rather talk shop with a person and work on a cool scene setup than dive into ul'dah smalltalk no. 74

for roleplay specifically, i try to write in present tense: the scene is currently taking place. for non-rp writing, i keep to past tense.

i do sometimes slip back into the habit of past tense during rp, especially when my partner is writing in past tense as well, but i'm trying :3

my approach to custom lore is less making stuff up outright and more extrapolating, so probably 6, maybe even 7? if an idea doesn't sound outlandish or unsuitable for the general vibe of the setting, i'm happy to go along with it.

anri can finally wear The Coat in vanilla and look dapper as hell!! also the alchemist top with a hood goes hard as traveling attire.

anri needs someone to protect, so while there'd probably be a fling (or a dozen) with garrus at some point(s), she wouldn't end up in anything serious with him. it's a tie between liara and tali, probably leaning tali because of the whole "reclaiming and rebuilding our home" arc.

4) i vastly prefer OOC approaches! i like figuring out an interesting scene/plot setup that isn't just "we meet in a bar and talk", and that requires some ooc coordination

1) i mostly hang around the mateus or balmung qs, but the latter has been pretty bad as of late. i haven't had much luck with public events bc they're usually cliquey and closed off

i personally run with approximate OOC time. the events of heavensward may not have taken a full ~2 years, for example, but it's been ~2 years between the start of heavensward and the start of stormblood for me. rinse and repeat with the rest, the time bubble smells of elderberries

i've done a good bit of posing at this point, but this is *by far* my favorite shot of anri. it's peak. regrettably the C+ data from this has been lost to me being an idiot and not making backups, and while i think i've succeeded in recreating it, it always feels a tiny bit off.

limited character customization. xiv is all fun and games until you try to make a masc-leaning woman and realize you only have 4 short hairstyles to choose from and all of the facial options are wide awake and half a breath away from smiling. and that's not getting into height or build.

i draw a line between what's in-character and what's not! anri doesn't make sense as a WoL bc her whole deal is that she's *not* special in any way but *still* gets things done (though nothing at the same scale as the WoL ofc).
