High above the downtown waterfront, the tranquil Willamette River stretches low across the foreground broken only by the silhouette of a few trees, Southeast Portland with a few lights dotting the landscape as it reaches back to Mount Hood on the horizon, the sky a backdrop of deep oranges, fading up through brighter oranges into a smoky shade of salmon.
