A nearly complete seaside-themed cross stitch sampler. The green outer border and inner box outlines are finished. Small stitched scenes include a red and blue striped beach hut with a seagull on top, an orange crab, two blue fish in yellow-bordered frames, two sailing boats, two colourful kites, a yellow octopus, a red and white lighthouse, and rows of wrapped sweets. A red and white lifebuoy is stitched near the middle. The stitched alphabet now runs almost fully down the right-hand side and across the top and bottom borders, finishing with a decorative “Z” in the bottom right corner.

Today’s #crossstitch update: the alphabet now goes A to U, V’s MIA like it jumped ship, and the rest are chilling like nothing happened. Fish are thriving while V’s floating somewhere lost at sea. Frogging 2morrow to rescue it from Davy Jones’ locker. #UKstitcher #alphabetcrime #skystitch #fibrearts
