Woodland Park-as dark as it gets at night. These are the night-lights.
It’s an urban park, but it is also home to bats, owls, birds, and insects and the whiter the light at night, the more stress it puts on wildlife
@SeattleParks Why aren’t we using #AmberLightAtNight in parks
When an educated environmental city like #Seattle chooses high Kelvin lighting for natural parks with old native trees-you just want to throw up your hands and give up. But we can’t the planet is depending upon us. #GoDark4Climate #AmberLightAtNight
Hey @Martinspired - Are you the author of this @Costco article on #SmartLighting? Your article said the ideal product would offer between 2700-6500K smart lightbulb. We want you to know the best smart-lights offer a sleep-promoting 2200K option. #AmberLightAtNight
We’re disappointed that @CityofSeattle offers discounted LED lightbulbs -and it says they are available in a “wide range of colors from cool to warm” but I spoke to a @SEACityLight rep at #Costco last week and he said #Seattle doesn’t offer lower than 2700K. #AmberLightAtNight
We need companies to #RespectNeighborhoods and Follow code even if @SeattleSDCI won’t enforce it. #AmberLightAtNight #ShieldThatLight

Hey @MightyODonuts your over-bright blue-emitting neon light is causing #lightpollution in #Ballard. This sign is in complete contrast to your donuts which are healthier-than-most. If you must “light” please choose #AmberLightAtNight this would even compliment your logo
Hey @TMobile stop harassing our neighborhoods with 10,000 lumen spot lights, shining at cars, pedestrians, apartments, windows, and your Neon Pink blue-emitting signs on all night. @SeattleSDCI @TMobileHelp if you are a T-mobile customer please complain! #amberLightAtNight
