The Orange Fairy Book by Andrew Lang is a twelfth scale handmade miniature leather book of vintage fairy tales with antique black and white and colour illustration. It features a stitched orange leather binding with gold trimmed decoration on the cover and spine. This 12th scale miniaturized and abridged version contains approximately 72 pages with 16 black and white illustrations and 3 full page colour plates. Binding: orange suede leather with decorative stitching Paper: 100% cotton acid-free Pages: hand-sewn signatures with gold coloured edges End Papers: have a reproduced marbled design in blue tones The original Orange Fairy Book was published in 1906 in London by Longmans, Green and Co., and featured fairy stories collected by Andrew Lang from many countries around the world. It was primarily illustrated by Henry J. Ford. It is one of the series of fairy tale books edited by Andrew Lang that all feature colours in the title.
