Panel 1 -- Bob: Sadie Sink?

Sadie: Ha, I wish. It's Sadie Wrenck.

Bob: If you only had one word to articulate your experience at The Lucky Star, what would it be?

Panel 2 -- Sadie: Underwhelming.

Bob: How so?

Panel 3 -- Sadie: Who am I kidding? Even underwhelming is an understatement. I get promotions, accolades, and all that symbolic shit, yet it doesn't translate to a fatter paycheck. I'm constantly the one to work overtime or fill somebody's shoes cause I don't got a family, whatever the fuck that means...

Panel 4 -- Sadie: And if you wouldn't believe it, I get called a hostile, poor team player "diminishing morale" just for speaking up about it. Starr is so full of crap! By God, it's my love of this profession that's keeping me together. Or else, I'd lose my...

That is being poor. No money for seeds to grow food. Fighting for shelter so you can avoid the car. Scrambling for scraps of water to try and stop the hunger pangs that were always gnawing away at you. #angryrant

9. The best of times you had hope for was when your parents had some money and they would take you to the bar up the street. Buy you a burger and you would sleep in the booth in the bar, warm and full for a night.

7. No christmas, birthday, thanksgiving, or any holiday. Once in a while some chocolate from the supermarket though.
8. borrowing paper, pencils, pens from your classmates that you would keep so that you had something to use and look less like a "loser"

3. Dragging your sibling home for 750 meters who fell through the ice to warm them up, dry their clothes and get them in bed.
4. having to hand pump a well next door at night to have water when you woke up.

Saying "I'm not against their religion but I see it as no different to being required to remove a motor bike helmet" is wrong #angryrant 8/n

You want to make me cry in shame & fear? Shame on you, all of you, 4 thinking that you are being reasonable. Shame. On. You. #angryrant 7/n

I am a woman who chose to wear the hijab while undergoing chemotherapy. You would have liked me to remove this garment? #angryrant 6/n

These women choose to wear clothing they do bcos their culture says it is important that only family members see their face. #angryrant 5/n

Clothes are optional extras dictated by culture. Do you wear a motorcycle helmet at all times while outside? #angryrant 4/n

And then tell her that, no, I am not looking at your breasts. There is no need to wear either garment, they all conceal. #angryrant 3/n

That is like asking a western woman to remove her shirt and bra to make sure that she is not carrying a concealed weapon. #angryrant 2/n
