They may have rotated some of the stock in the Win Zone claw machines between Hurler and Carolina Cyclone, but meh. I didn't come here for the games anyway, full disclosure.

Day 20, stop 1. A brief visit to Carowinds in Charlotte, NC & SC. The park and at least one of its coasters cross state lines! Fury 325 is absolutely amazing. I couldn't pass up riding it on this trip.

If you love the 1957 Official Baseball pitch-and-bat game from Williams, boy, do I have good news for you. Seeing this in person is simply stunning.

Giving this game its own post, because I have NEVER seen it ANYWHERE. The owner Adam was pretty proud of having it in his collection. "Devil Zone" by Universal, a fast-paced old school vertical shooter that is absolutely brutal. Amazing artwork on the cab, too. #arcade #roadtrip #arcaderoadtrip

First time I've seen Odin's Hammer Strike on the floor at a D&B. Fairly popular too, had to wait for about 10 minutes to take this photo without anyone playing.

Day 18, stop 4. Yet another Dave & Buster's, this one in Pooler, GA at the Tanger Outlets. It looks like a relatively recent addition to the chain; small arcade, small dining area. A few new games but otherwise the same old same old. #arcade #roadtrip #arcaderoadtrip

Some very interestingly titled cabinets here. That After Burner Climax, btw, appears to have been running off an Xbox 360.

Hopping Road Island was sadly out of order, as was Taiko No Tatsujin behind it. Pump It Up, Dance Central, and Dance Cube were all working though.

Day 18, stop 3. Fang's Island Restaurant & Arcade, Hinesville, GA. It's up there with Flavortown for one of the most interesting stops I've visited. Asian fusion food & an arcade section heavy on the bootlegs. Haven't come across any place like it on the trip yet. #arcade #roadtrip #arcaderoadtrip

More than just redemption games, but World's Largest Pac-Man is about as retro as it gets (ie, not very).
