A delightful and very large vintage 1990s signed handmade one of a kind carved multicolor Bakelite three-dimensional Red Pig on a Scooter design brooch pin by American Bakelite artist Gary Paul. Gary Paul is known for his sense of whimsy and his entirely hand-crafted pieces made from vintage Bakelite parts from the 1930s, and this is an exceptional example of his work. A three-dimensional red pig wearing a black and white cap is riding a green and yellow scooter with a deep purple steering bar at front, and a metal pole with yellow flag at back! Measures 3.25" tall by 3.25" wide. Signed at back, "G. Paul" for Gary Paul as shown in photos. Purchased directly from the artist, and only worn once! Excellent vintage condition.
