Two digital sketches, the one to the right has a pose which in human form means turning the butt towards the "camera" or the person viewing the art. The left one is more natural.
This is why references are so important! I did the right sketch first, tried making the pose myself and realized it wasn't feasible and very uh, butt-centric. #wip #references #artist #arttip

Have you've looked at your piece and wondered "something is wrong but I'm not sure what" ?
I recommend trying the liquify tool! If you look between the sketch and final, the eye and middle finger were moved using liquify. Sometimes making a small change makes a huge difference!

A sketched page talking about some facts about freckles. Freckles are small groups of melanized cells that form in response to our skin being exposed to UV rays. It can be, but isn't limited to, hereditarily passed on genetics - they just happen to be a lot more common for those who have a predisposition, and those with lighter skin. There are two subtypes of freckles, one that is more likely to fade in winter and darken in summer, and the other (typically called sun spots or liver spots) tends to persist, but is more often seen on those with a lifetime of exposure to the sun. Freckles are most likely to form in areas most prominently exposed to the sun, such as the tops of cheeks, bridge of the nose, forehead, tops of ears, tops of shoulders and back, and along the outer arms!
A smaller page explaining that freckles don't really need to be realistic at the end of the day - this is just some info and methods (visualized) that helped me better understand how to draw them! They often have layers of lighter and darker patches, with the darker spots being those area's most exposed. Lighter spots are sometimes visible, but those tend to be scars or other damaged tissue - cellulite, scars from healed wounds, and a variety of skin problems can present with lighter colored speckles. This isn't a hard and fast rule, so take any guidance with a grain of salt - draw the way that feels right and looks fun to you!
