A vintage Ashford Traditional spinning wheel in need of some minor refurbishment

Got myself this vintage Ashford Traditional spinning wheel. It needs some work and some new parts but I think it should be serviceable with a little TLC.

Late 70s or early 80s is my guess.

I found a photo of my very first spinning wheel. An Ashford Scholar, I bought it for $50. I added the Celtic designs from iron on transfers. The fiber on the bobbin is jacob wool. You can't see it in the photo, but it had a giant orifice. A fab 1st wheel. #spinningwheel #yarnspinner #ashfordwheel
