Watching #TheRookie - That's not Windows or MacOS, looks kinda sorta like XP, _BUT_ that icon, second row on the left, I've only ever seen that on the GParted Live Disk.
So Linux, but does anyone recognize the flavor?
Likely the hard drive is just at its end of life (and has been for a couple years.) Or it could be that Windows Defender takes a long time to scan everything, (because the hard drive is end of life,) everytime I start it up, which is once every year or so.

I was trying out Pop! OS from a USB stick on my 12 year old laptop.
Is there a way to monitor hard drive usage like task manager does?
This laptop suffers from 100% disk usage in windows.
