Whoever decided that cohabiting with your love was a good idea must have been out of their minds. Romantic dinners, showers together, cuddling with his arm around you. Starting his day off right so he’ll think of you at work. Eventually you get tired and they don’t try. His arm is heavy, his skin is clammy. You notice his hairs on the toilet when you lift the seat to clean it and you wince at the dry piss splashes on the wall. Then there is his dirty laundry—underwear. Let’s not go there. Well this is the way it goes, I suppose. Passionate, romantic love gets flushed down the toilet.
