I'm tempted to ditch the spawner and just have enemies spawn in when the trigger is activated. Like it just creates the enemy objects instead of using an actual spawner. No matter what I do I can't get the spawner to stop spawning enemies. So that's a small problem. #gamedev #indiedev #babydev

Decided to jump back into GDevelop. One of the games I was prototyping actually works perfectly for the small game I want to make. Just worked out the speed to get away from enemies. Sticking with top down controls. I think this can work. #indiedev #gamedev #solodev #babydev

Okay, I figured out the problem with the counter adding another counter with a new number next to the og counter when an item is collected. I had to swap it to "set to" not "add". Now the counter works. #gamedev #indiedev #solodev #babydev

Okay, so I figured out the solution to the character not falling into the ground and walking through it...but now the camera is broken. If it's not one thing, it's something else. I'll figure it out, it's just a lot of winging it and trusting something will work out. #gamedev #solodev #babydev
I swapped my default tester sprite for the player character with another sprite I made a while ago for something that never panned out...and now the player falls into the floor. Not through the floor, but now it's moving through the floor. So that's a problem nowπ #gamedev #solodev #babydev
