Off-Leash. We did find enough snow in the FLNF to XC Ski! Back Country skiing is often bushwhacking & following the paths of fauna. It's not fast nor pretty & it's work. Secret Pond allowed me to "skate" & Penny to work off some winter weight. No skijoring this time! #backcountryxc #flnf #offleash

Skied a few ticks on the Interlocken and some spurs. Nice & cold. 2 little snow 2 cover limbfall frost heave & forbidden snowmobile washboards. Postholes from hikers but not terrible given the lack of snow depth. Companions loved it tho! #xcfingerlakes #xcskiing #backcountryxc #dogsofthefingerlakes
