There is a custom minifig of a character that is intended to depict the author of this post, who is a Background Extra on the show. The LEGO minifig, positioned on a "jumper" brick as though it is running, has a forked beard, a black helmet, a navy blue duster, silvery metal pauldrons with a knobby texture, purple pants, and a frowny expression. He wields a Space Blunderbuss blaster, and the photo is enhanced to make it look as though it is actually firing a laser beam. Other laser beams and explosions of sparks are also superimposed upon the basic photograph to make it look like a pitched battle is taking place. The image is also overlaid with the logos for "Skeleton Crew" and LEGO, and the title "Gumdrop the Pirate." This refers to the self-declared name by the Background Extra for his character, based upon the shape and gumdrop-like knobs of the pauldrons on the character's costume. Although the Background Extra depicted actually got to wave around a blaster and essentially go "pew pew pew" in the Star Wars universe, that activity was not seen in the final cut of the episode. But it happened. Honest. And it was a blast.
I made a LEGO minifig of the pirate character I was in "Star Wars: Skeleton Crew." I called my character "Gumdrop the Pirate," based upon the shape and gumdrop-like knobs of the pauldrons on the costume.
Alas, me going all Pew Pew Pew didn't make the final cut.
