2022: Lauren Ipsum I first found out about Charles Brubaker through his series “Ask a Cat,” and later found out that we were on a common Discord server. His ongoing series “Lauren Ipsum” featuring a librarian/fanfiction writer and friends has struck a chord with me and many other readers with its wit and clever know-how of fandom spaces. Charles himself is also super active not just with his own work, but in supporting the art community at large. It's admirable that he's made a name for himself in the comic world, which is something I aspire to do. I got the chance to meet him in person earlier this year at a convention and it was great!
