Locally, it's said to have originally been a farm cottage, and it has that sort of feel to it, but I can't find the evidence to confirm this. However, I like the idea of this being the last surviving remnant of the farm which once occupied this land.

I've always found the cottage on the right of this image rather interesting. It's on Mitre Road, just north of Victoria Park in the west of Glasgow and it's different in style and age from all the other houses which surround it.
