An inkle band in progress on a wooden inkle loom, which is sitting on two grey silicone pot rests on a lap desk. I'm weaving this on the couch. The band is narrow stripes of black, yellow and orange, with the stripes increasing in width from left to right.
Making some simple inkle stripes. I'm disappointed the yellow and orange aren't brighter colors, and that they're so close to each other in value it's a little hard to tell them apart.
Going to just weave it quickly and move on to another project.

A close up of my pink and red, woven band made using the method of weaving known as "tablet weaving". The ends of the band have been braided to give it a more smarter look.
Brading four coloured cord (two blue, two red) on my two pronged lucet (or a knitting fork it is known as). The lucet is a brown colour and I'm gripping it with my right hand.
Current WIPs (works in process)– Stitching a border on my tablet woven band and Brading a bicoloured cord on my lucet using lace bobbins.

Converted a bog standard frame loom into a weaving loom, using a embroidery cloth roller. I do have an inkle loom, but I find it tricky to warp due to having hEDS.

My attempt at weaving a sample band using the ancient method of tablet weaving. The background of the woven band is a dusty pink, and the pattern itself is a light yellow. The sample band is on the edges of my light coloured couch.
A close up of my patterned band. You can see the detail of the yellow pattern among the pink background. It is a chevron like pattern with a odd looking diamond shape in the middle.
My first real but crappy attempt at tablet weaving. You can see the pattern, but either I have tension issues that I need to work on or, I was using the wrong kind of wool. Either way, I have allot of improvements to do 😅
