I’m very fond of the idea that in the #bartendervoxau even tho he’s a villain Overlord Husk is predisposed to being fond of Angel and Vox bc he‘s a gambler, ofc he likes terrible odds and knows how lucky losers can be. Or maybe he sees a bit of himself in them. Who knows!

Someone asked about Rosie in the #bartendervoxau and I was so happy to get to doodle them bc I think they’d absolutely despise each other. Pure hatred. Opps from day 1. But Rosie would also be the first person Vox’d think to go to after Alastor disappears so… 🙂 bonus early days no soul Vox
I really like the idea of Hellaverse sinners celebrating their death days instead of birthdays bc it has that wonderful unique quality of being really funny and really sad at the same time

I like to think Niffty and Vox are pretty good friends in the #bartendervoxau. She frequently kept him company while Alastor was gone; some of those outfit fixes are definitely from her, too.

Idk how to explain how Husk is my favorite character in an AU literally called #bartendervoxau , but sadly it’s true and 99% of it can be explained by this doodle I got asked for on a trading card order
Someone asked about Husk and Val in the #bartendervoxau and I was so inspired by the need to address their dynamic that I frantically drew this doodle 20 min before I had to head to work. Anyway yeah, Val can’t handle the cat
Finished the #bartendervoxau character sheet! Pretty proud of it. I set out trying to emulate the show character sheets I’ve seen before, so it was fun and a cool exercise to boot
Now I will never ever forget again which side I put that patch on. Perfect.

First bona fide non-doodle drawing of #bartendervoxau ended up being for #staticmothweek! The last prompt is “AU”, and I just couldn’t help myself.
It was fun making Val’s design a little Husk inspired, since Husk leads the Vees in this AU. He even gave him a feather to replace his lost antenna!
Had someone request a “Husk scaring Bartender Vox?” sketch, and imo nothing is scarier then how cocky a Husk that never lost his soul to Alastor would be

Been fiddling around with designing a Vox that sold his soul to Alastor (DEFFO bc he was in love with him) and became the bartender of the Hazbin Hotel instead of Husk. Still in the exploring stages, but here’s some early concept doodles
