It's the parents, it's values, social media, insufficient police, soft sentencing, EVERYTHING except material conditions. #bbcaq

Another thing is that big shops have fewer staff because so much has been mechanised.

And the machines aren’t going to police thieves.

I remember reporting shoplifters to staff and they just shrugged, not enough of them and not paid enough for it to be worth their while interfering.
