Wonderful programme featuring #DonMcCullin. He has always been on my radar, his photos often hard to look at, showing the violence & brutality of war. He seemed sad that his photos hadn’t stop wars, but they certainly left a lasting impression of the futility of it all.

I don't have a problem with MPs being paid £100,000.
It's not a 9-5 job; it's practically 24/7. MPs and their family are under constant media scrutiny. There's the security risks. There's the harassment and abuse, more so for women MPs.
I think MPs are underpaid.

@dalevince.com I've just listened to Dale Vince (Ecotricity) and Greg Jackson (Octopus) discussing heat pumps #BBCR4 with Evan Davies. instructive, but Dale Vince's points were often overshadowed by his bellicose delivery. If we're going to learn he needs to discard the attitude -- not helpful.
