One for the #notbeerbods brethren. Cucumelon has risen from the ashes. The night of the cucumelon controversy was peak #beerbods and I will never forget it. The stuff of legends.

Fresh from my latest brewser box it's crib goch from weekend project. It's certainly got west coast vibes, the bitterness is really up there. Think I'd enjoy it more drinking it in the dark however, I struggle with beer that looks like a pint of murky pineapple and lemonade. #beerbods #bskybeer

A bottle of St. Austell Brewery's MENA DHU stout which features a silver celtic-ish motif on the black label. The accompanying beverage is dark and moody with a fulsome head. Definitely a stout amongst stouts. 4.5% by vol.

Time for #notbeerbods part 2 (well, I AM on holiday) finds us relaxing with St. Austell Brewery's MENA DU. It's so smoky and smooth. I remember it from actual #beerbods in 2021 whence I wrote "smooth and silky, lusciously lovelieness, very good stout indeed, but not quite BOTY 9.137/10" ... Yup.

I only remember one Beerbods Einstök but then I did take a sabbatical for a while. I've found others elsewhere though, since.

Really missing #Beerbods right now. Need to find a replacement to push me out of my comfort zone, perhaps once a week.

Any suggestions?

One of the beers that got me off supermarket Amstel in the first place was a toasted Icelandic Porter from Einstök, courtesy of #Beerbods. Not in the same league as this bad boy but it was instrumental in my transition into unbearable beer pwincess. 😁

A bostin bottle of Edel by ABK sparkles in an old Stella chalice. With Southampton beating Man Utd on the TV and a slightly less small cat watches on. Joy.

An absolute classic for #notbeerbods tonight with an Edel by ABK. Their Dunkel on actual #beerbods in 2020 changed my life, then came Edel in 2021. Here's what I wrote. "there's lager, there's craft lager, and then ... There's Edel. Flipping lovely.just fabulous BOTY 9.69999/10 abv heaven"

Vaguely recall a Round Corner brew from #Beerbods

That's where I first discovered craft beer. Wandered into a field at the Good Life Festival & Evil Gordon from #Beerbods (sadly now defunct) poured me some Wiper & True. Ruined me. Up to then I'd come out of a supermarket with a case of Amstel feeling like the height of sophistication.

My first beer post and it's a cracker Negative Charge, a sour cherry robust porter from Atom Brewing via a Brewser box. I was certainly uncertain about this one but it's a really top porter. Enjoying it on the wrong day for this but it's a good one for #notbeerbods #notthursday #beerbods

Missed out on the last couple of #beerbods evenings due to illness. This is very acceptable for a sunny afternoon session, but I think on the whole I would rather be falling off Striding Edge
