Although the progressive rock band Beggars Opera came from Scotland, they found great success in Germany, where they also toured extensively. And although I'm not the biggest prog fan, I have to admit that ‘Time Machine’ is a damn good and fascinating song.

#RickyGardiner (31 August 1948–13 May 2022) was a genious #Scottish guitarist & composer. He formed the exceptional #progrock band #beggarsopera in 1969. He played lead guitar on the 1977 David Bowies Low album & he worked with IggyPop on Lust for Life the same year.
