I have grown to dislike my green basket weave patterned wide scarf project.
I am going to frog it and use that yarn for something more appropriate.
It is really nice wool. Maybe a smaller scarf that could be worn indoors.
I am 1/2 through my maroon cabled owl hat. #beginningknitter #knitting
Knit light grey beanie with big, red logo shaped like a blood drop in the middle.
Finished beanie for spouse! But will now frog it all 😭 and redo, as I didn't calculate hat height properly despite swatching and logo is too low and too messy (learned about intarsia halfway through 😅). May the yarn hold up yet another frogging!🧶 #Knitting #IsThisLoveOrWhat #BeginningKnitter
Any pattern recommendations for a beginner chunky knit sweater that doesn’t have a super high neckline? I got 10 skeins of wonderfluff and needles to make the petiteknit novice chunky sweater but I’m having second thoughts with how high the neck goes. #knitsky #knitting #beginningknitter
I took a break from yarn for a bit but now am back working on this sweater vest. The process is going much smoother than the dozen starts it took to get to this point. #beginningknitter #learningtoknit
Finished with the cable sample and this is my last knit square for a while. I am almost out of all the cotton yarn I have and I need to get started on the wool sweater vest I bought yarn for last year. 😁 #learningtoknit #beginningknitter
somewhat successful purl then knit, it’s getting easier #beginnerknitter #knitsky #beginningknitter
Oh the sweet relief of an easier pattern before jumping into my first pattern using cable needles.
This one is so easy to "read" based on which side you are working. I'm actually enjoying the knit. #beginningknitter #learningtoknit
The final product! The last corner is a little off, but overall I am very pleased with how this turned out. It was good practice in increasing and decreasing. #beginningknitter
A triangle of green and white fabric hanging off of a wooden knitting needle.
I’m halfway through #knitting my first dish cloth. I’m learning a lot! Mostly, I’ve learned that tiny stitches make my hands hurt. #beginningknitter
A navy blue scarf rests on top of a bookshelf. The scarf has flecks of lighter blues and whites. A yellow curtain and pine branches are in the background.
I’m ready to move on from scarves, but I’m very pleased with this one I just finished for my sister. #beginningknitter

Finally getting the hang of using circular needles #knitting #beginningknitter
