I got a chicken foot in mine, which I’m told is good luck. I can’t stand the idea of eating a foot, which if you eat meat anyway, is somewhat irrational.

I ate around the foot and the dog enjoyed it. Win/win!!

FWIW, I get the impression that #Belizeans in general (although maybe mostly #Kriol Belizeans like myself) open gifts 🎁 starting *no sooner* than midnight, but more often, after breakfast on Christmas Day, but certainly *not* on Christmas Eve.
