I really enjoyed drawing the scales of this anglerfish. It brings back memories of a cool watercolor still life of fish that I did in art school, but which was irretrievably lost and sent to some competition. I also remember the characters of devils melody (my origin), namely the eternally gloomy Leviathan. Apparently, everything related to fish will be quite depressive for me, as will the mood of the character that the customer asked me to convey.
