"Brick" is a song by American alternative rock group #BenFoldsFive. It was released in November 1997 as a single from their album #WhateverAndEverAmen and later on #BenFoldsLive. The verses were written by Ben Folds based on the true story of taking his high school girlfriend to get an #abortion.
On this day in 1997, Ben Folds Five released their second studio album Whatever and Ever Amen.
It sharpened their piano-rock edge and pushed them to a wider audience with Battle of Who Could Care Less and Brick.
