After bumping its head on the ceiling a few times, the bird settled on a chandelier. Once it calmed down a bit we got it to hop on to a dust mop so we could move it back outside.
our little friend perched on the dust mop as it was carried down the stairs and out the door. We were hoping something soft would work to avoid possible injury and also feel safe to perch on.
Last night Mrs P opened the door to let the dogs out, and a bird flew in. It took a little time but she got it to land on a dust mop and then carried it slowly down the stairs and out the front door. Image search says it was an Eastern Phoebe. Glad it’s ok. #berbs
