We teach our kids to look for the helpers in times of crisis. We have to BE the helpers and BE SEEN as the helpers.
Today is not a good day in America. But that doesn't mean we give up. We have to fight harder than ever and show everyone else that we CARE about them and what happens to them and OUR COMMUNITIES.

Everyone else was gone hours ago, we cleared the fridge of anything salvageable and have bagged up the rest. My wife is getting a special soap so she can get the smoke smell out and have clothes to wear.
Really grateful for incredible friends today. To those who have been on the phone with me for hours, played games on BGA to distract me, helped out with things as I needed, and sent flowers, you know who you are and I can’t thank you enough! 😊❤️
