i bought nell painter's *the history of white people* at mt pleasant library #friends bookstore for $2. it was withdrawn from #nypl w/ this stamped message: "may be sold for the benefit of branch libraries of nypl or donated to other public service orgs." #blackstudies #dcpl #publiclibraries #bigthx
