#BinChat I’ve also begun the ‘turn’ in the compost bin; using a fork to lift and rotate the compost. I confess, I was a bit weird having the compost bin at the bottom of the garden but it’s been the best thing that came with the house.

a wall has fallen over, crushing a black wheely bin underneath it the bin is twisted in a way that indicates it did not survive. when you look closer you can see a large gaping wound with the end of the wall poking through it

Green - general waste (fortnightly collection) - incinerated for electricity generation (I think)
Blue - cardboard & paper (monthly)
Grey - plastic, glass, cans (monthly)
Brown - garden waste (fortnightly and seasonal, additional charge)

Not only has bin day changed this week, they've also changed the order bins get picked up in. Looks like the street isn't on it. It could be carnage tomorrow morning as it's one of the 2 major bins ( can bin).
