Small floral biscornu with navy blue black work embroidery. It has and interesting shape made by sewing the corner of one square to the centre of the other square’s edge, and then stitching right round. This gives a sort of rounded square cushion with a zigzag seam running round the outside. The centre is pulled in with a small blue bead to give a dimple in the middle of the little pincushion.
This is the other side of the biscornu which has somewhat less embroidery and more, larger, flowers.

Two squares of embroidery on the same fabric, both outlined in pink and embroidered in two shades of pink or a colour changing pink thread. The front is larger hearts and the back is many small hearts. Both with rotational symmetry
Square of embroidery done in blackwork: beehive shapes in the centre around a blank square, curling green stems, geometric leaves and small flowers in colour changing yarn with pinks blues and purples. Four large bees- currently only in black outline.
More work on les biscornus.
The hearts are done (don’t check exact symmetry of the small hearts!) and the bees need filling in and a back done…
The front of the hearts is from a pattern found on Pinterest, the small hearts and the bees panels are my own design.

A completed cross stitch biscornu design. The pattern is geometric with flowers in the corners, in dark green and gold, and enclosed in a back stitched green square.
